I LOVED the combination of the fuschia pencil with the gloss.  I'm wondering though how the gloss would look with other pencils or my too faced clear liner.  I was actually concerned it would be too bright for me....the gloss that is....but I ended up liking it anyway.

The eye pencil gave the blues a bit of pop like if I had foiled them, but didn't really deepen them at all.  I did like the pink lip combination too.  I decided to just keep both of the fuschia pencils, I like the color a lot anyway.  This just means I won't have to buy one for quite awhile.

My lips just didn't want to be photographed by themselves today.  Oh well.  I still don't like the pink nude pencil by itself but I LOVE it on top of other things.  I'll continue to use it that way. 

Later on I redid my lips with the borderline clear, the naked lipstick, and NYX gloss in natural.  It didn't really look a lot different from these pics though.

I was going to wear the pink nude by itself but it was too see through but LOVED it topped over the soft fuschia.  I'm a big nude lip fan....it allows me to go a little more dramatic with my eye color.  Anyone else like nude lipcolor?

My Merry Little Meow Christmas Haul....

My Meow gifts from the DH came on Christmas Eve!  WOO HOO!  Here's what I got....

Pampered Puss in Frisky Sphynx Full Size and Jumbo Faux Flat Top Brush:  I have to admit;  I didn't sample the pampered puss first.  I sampled the Purrfect, and found my color in frisky sphynx, though I am thinking that maybe just a touch of sleek sphynx would be even better, so I'm planning on samples of it.  Inside it's fine but outside it's just a little darker than my neck.  But I'm glad I did get the full size in the Pampered....it's so creamy a formula in it's application, gives good coverage even with my acne scars, and absorbs oil.  The brush....it's taklon....it's SOOO soft!  It's quickly become my favorite brush for applying my foundation.

The glows I love....I knew I would.  I have tried the tourmaline and the opal so far.  They give a very slight dewy look, not at all shiney or shimmery, but just enough.  I have yet to try the moonstone, sandstone and topaz.  The topaz was free:  I am wondering if it'll be too warm but it says on the Meow site that it's good for tired skin, which I DEFINATELY have today, so I think I may try it in a bit.  The firefly blush was also free:  I am getting a f/s of this one!  It's a wonderful neutral and goes well with my skintone.  The flawless foundation I have actually used to conceal, and like it better than the concealer formulas.  I'll be getting a munchkin size of it to conceal with.

They are in the same order starting at the top left down to the individual color as they are in the picture above.  I knew I'd LOVE these shadows....I've tried all but the party crashers, blizzard and snowangel, but I'm thinking of using them today.  They're GORGEOUS, very pigmented and shimmery.

I invested in F/S of the other three products because I knew they worked for me already from sampling.  The Premier Puss primer is in the combination formula....though I have pretty oily skin in the winter it gets dry flaky spots and the Oily one made me flake.  The Top Cat needs a light hand....I look too pasty if I apply it too heavily.  The glow is good too for the same reason as the colored glows.  I actually like the colored ones a little better, but this is good to have onhand as well.

I really liked this look today.  Oh, and look, in the eye pic with my eye open, you can see the green in my eyes.  My family still laugh and think I'm kidding when I say I now have green in them; they used to just be brown.

On to the makeup.....recent hauls

Ok....my makeup obsession is mostly a mineral obsession.  I love the colors; they're so bright and easy to customize, and they stay well (as long as they are applied correctly) too.  So recently I've placed a few online orders as well as visited my local Ulta store and gotten some good stuff. 

First,  I got a makeup mirror for my bathroom.  My poor little bathroom, the mirror isn't that great, and while the idea of 5X magnification isn't the greatest, it really helps me during application.

Urban Decay....LURVE it.....four 24/7 liners and the glitter liner in one package...plus a full sized Naked lipstick.  The colors of the liners are Zero, Mildew, Flipside, and 1999; the glitter liner is Distortion.

I also placed an order at Sephora, and got Too Faced Shadow Insurance (my beloved Benefit FYEye has stopped working for me) and Too Faced Borderline Clear Lip Pencil. 

Every time I've tried to get a good swatch picture it hasn't turned out the greatest.  I guess for now I'm limited to the colors in my looks posts.
