It's raining dulcinea, Lady Stardust!

LOL on the title of my look today!  I had some successes and some not-so successes today.  Let me first go over what I used.

Eyes:
UDPP in Eden
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy on lid and under lower lashes
NYX jumbo pencil in oyster on lid
Aromaleigh Dulcinea on lid
Aromaleigh Purple Rain in crease
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in lust top and bottom
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in zero at lower waterline
Aromaleigh lady stardust in outer 1/3 of crease and dry over liners
Clinique High Impact mascara in black

Face:
Aromaleigh pink cream concealer under eye area
Aromaleigh silk primer
Aromaleigh 2YL glissade
Aromaleigh Breathless Blush
A mix of Aromaleigh Coquille Bleu and Aromaleigh URFP in clear

Lips:
NYX liner in Mauve
MAC lipstick in Viva Glam V
MAC Lipglass in Viva Glam VI

Lippies....WIN.......UDPP so far is a FAIL though.  If you look in the second pic with my eye closed, it's already starting to crease after about only 10 mins.  I'm going to try it in different combos to see if it was the amount I used, but BOY.....we'll have to see about that one.  LOVE lust though.....

  1. UDPP Eden did the same thing on me, thought it was something I was doing wrong.

  2. I think it may be my use of it too, but you never know. I know some people that LOVE UDPP and some that hate it, but it's the same with my beloved TFSI too.

  3. too bad about the UDPP :( How did you like the Oyster pencil? That could be the culprit for the creasing actually... NYX jumbos are famous for creasing. I'm usually OK with them on top of UDPP as long as I apply really sheerly and pat it out well with my finger. These colors look fantastic on you, I just love dulcinea

  4. Hi Nina, I thought about that actually. I didn't get any good pics of my look yesterday but I used my cottage cheese and had creasing too. and I didn't use them sheerly at all, so that's a good possibility. I love the color of oyster though! :D

  5. it is such a pretty color! I find less is definitely more with them, you don't really need much at all to make your shadows pop. I find I usually draw some of the pencil onto my fingertip and then pat and blend it onto the lid... this kinda ensures that I'm not depositing too much product. I've definitely had my share of creasing with them though :)

  6. I agree, it's very pretty! I think next time I'll try the patting from my fingertip technique. Today I didn't use any of them. I did use my new MAC bare study pot though. HAHA....and my new MAC Blankety lipstick. I'm going to start collecting MAC lippies I think.

Oddly enough, I don't ever get creasing with my black bean stick. Go figure.
