Here's my look from yesterday.  I had planned on posting it last night but time got away from me, then I was tired and had to get up early for work so it didn't happen.  This is done mostly with NARS with some NYX thrown in.

The pairing of those particular lippies made for a great nude lip!  Also I loved the Demon Lover shadows, and the liners from NYX Didn't bother my eyes at all, even the liquid ones, which is saying something because I have very sensitive skin and eyes!

The lighting both inside and outside really doesn't show my blonde the way it is naturally....for some reason everything was turning out more yellow/gold yesterday in pics.  So I took a few with my phone to show you...these are much closer to what the color looks like irl.

 While the tones of the blonde in these are pretty bad too, it gives you an idea of what the top of my hair looks like.  I think next week while I'm on vacay and after I can buy some more of my Paul Mitchell Keratin Treatment at my local beauty supply house I'm going to pull some of the very dark I still have left on the bottom and back out and color it lighter like the rest.

Glittery Mermaid Look and a new Browser.....

First, I wanted to show you my glittery purple and teal mermaid look.  It was also my first attempt at a cut crease, though it didn't turn out as defined as I'd planned originally, but I still loved how the finished look came out!

OK here's a few observations...

1.  Monistat is the BOMB for primer, both for my face and eyes!  HG status for sure!
2.  LOVE the way my lips turned out
3.  Though my eyes didn't turn out exactly like I expected them to, I loved them too!
4.  I'm going to have to buy more manic panic colors.  Though I missed some areas with the Atomic Turquoise so some places were more green, I have a second coat on now that should take care of it.  :D

Some things I picked up while OOT working....

I like to do a little retail therapy while out of town working.  :D  This trip was no different....I did some shopping while gone.  Here's what I got!

Ecotools five brush set....plus I bought an extra eyeshadow brush that's taklon of theirs and took the brow comb out and put it in the hemp carrier instead.

I took advantage of the NYX online sale and picked up a TON of lipsticks, lipliners, and glosses, and also a set of lashes to try.  I've yet to figure them out but one of my coworkers wears them all the time and is going to help me experiment with them when we get together next week.  :D

On to the makeup.....recent hauls

Ok....my makeup obsession is mostly a mineral obsession.  I love the colors; they're so bright and easy to customize, and they stay well (as long as they are applied correctly) too.  So recently I've placed a few online orders as well as visited my local Ulta store and gotten some good stuff. 

First,  I got a makeup mirror for my bathroom.  My poor little bathroom, the mirror isn't that great, and while the idea of 5X magnification isn't the greatest, it really helps me during application.

Urban Decay....LURVE it.....four 24/7 liners and the glitter liner in one package...plus a full sized Naked lipstick.  The colors of the liners are Zero, Mildew, Flipside, and 1999; the glitter liner is Distortion.

NYX jumbo eye pencil in black bean; jumbo lip pencils in soft fuschia and pink nude.

I also placed an order at Sephora, and got Too Faced Shadow Insurance (my beloved Benefit FYEye has stopped working for me) and Too Faced Borderline Clear Lip Pencil. 

Every time I've tried to get a good swatch picture it hasn't turned out the greatest.  I guess for now I'm limited to the colors in my looks posts.
