Thank GOD for good hair and makeup days....

because I had a SUCKY Mother's Day thanks to several of my extended family members.  Won't go into the drama, but I really needed something to cheer me up and my look today did it.  My curls are coming back with a vengance!  Here we go....

Revealing lipglass

OMG WHAT kept me from buying revealing before now???? Oh yeah, I thought it'd be too pigmented.  It's exactly what I wanted in a caramel gloss.  Everything came together skin looked good, the makeup, I was happy with my eyes AND my hair....I needed that, cause after yesterday WHEW I needed cheering.

I went to my local professional beauty supply house today and got some new's called DermOrganic (organic ingredients, all natural) and it has argan oil in it.  Also got an EOS lipbalm.....with the discontinuation of my beloved AL ones, I have to find a replacement.  Haven't tried it yet, I'll keep you posted.

  1. Love the look and the hair :) You look really hapy in the pix :)

  2. Hi Nina, thanks! :D

Hi Phyrra, thank you! I was very happy, it went a long way towards cheering me up....

  3. Oh, I also love the look and the curls! Both are soooo great. You look especially lovely. I'm glad they helped cheer you up. (Family drama is the worst, so I'm sorry you had to deal with that.) Revealing is gorgeous, too.

We've only recently had argan oil products around here, so about a year, maybe a year and a half ago, I picked up MoroccanOil, which was all we had in the area. It has lasted forever (barely a dent in it, and I use it every time I wash my hair), and I love it. I'm interested to see how you like the DermOrganic conditioner.

  4. Hi Kathy, thanks! Yeah family drama stinks. Loving revealing!

I'll keep you posted on the DermOrganic and if I like it or not. I can't use the Moroccan Oil, it has silicones in it and if I want my curls I can't use silicones. I've heard good things about it though!

  5. I'm sorry Mother's Day was a bummer for you. :( Shame on you, relatives of Thia! (hee hee, only kidding. I'm sure you don't want to relive it.)

I would die for your hair texture. It looks so piece-y in an awesome way. Another great post. :)

  6. Aww thanks. I'm done with it that's for sure.

Thank you! I love my wurls. :D I've been getting so many complements on them, both on here and irl.....I won't be straightening anytime soon.

  7. Doh! Silicones, you say. That would explain why my curl creams haven't been working as well as they used to. (Since "used to" was pre-Moroccan Oil.) Good to know. I am not a curl expert, since I'm just kind of wavy, but sometimes I like to give it a little boost, and now I'll be able to again. Thanks!

  8. Hey Kathy...yep, silicones. I believe it not only has dimethicone in it but also cyclopentasiloxane (which is also a cone) as well as maybe even another? always helps to know! :D

  9. Very lovely.....Your hair is just so cute!!
